How to delete your account

You can delete your Monavo account and all associated cloud data using either of the following methods:

Option 1: From the app

1. Open Monavo
2. Go to Settings
3. Tap Account
4. Tap Delete Account
5. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Option 2: By email

Send an email to support@getmonavo.com from the email address associated with your account, requesting account deletion. We will process your request within 30 days.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

• Your Supabase authentication account (email and credentials)
• All synced transactions, categories, and recurring expenses
• Connected device records
• Any subscription entitlements managed through our system

What is not affected

• Local data: Transactions and settings stored on your device are not affected by account deletion. To remove local data, uninstall the app.
• Active subscriptions: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. To avoid further charges, cancel your subscription through Google Play or the App Store before deleting your account.
• Anonymous analytics: Anonymized usage analytics collected by PostHog are not linked to your account. You can request separate deletion of analytics data by emailing support@getmonavo.com.
